St. Joseph’s Young Adults Group
We are a diverse youth belonging to different communities and come together in service of our Lord as one family. We are a bunch of lively young adults ranging from the aged group from 18 to 35 years old (including young married couples), we meet fortnightly, every first Sundays 2-4pm and third Fridays 7-9pm of the month. This group has been into existence for the last five years and we see a lot of youth joining in.
Through the charisma of our group, we provide a space for our members to grow in an awareness of God in all things, and its three core values are community, mission and spirituality. Members of this group are part of our Wembley Parish. The focus of the meetings is not always prayers & discussion, but rather we try to there for each other when time calls for.
We see so much spirit, faith, and life in every member! We often hear people say that “youth are the church of the future,” but we believe that youth are the church of TODAY as well! Our wishes are to instil faith and hope in all members of the group through spirituality and fun activities, For the last five years the group has been organising a lot of team-building activities, conferences, retreats, Night Vigils, assisting in various Parish services specially with the Justice and Peace group, RCAI etc. we have also been organising indoor/outdoor activities, sports days, dances, camps/hikes, picnics etc. We try to plan a good variety of events and activities.
We look forward to you joining our group ...
